Loft Conversion Specialists

A pre-conversion London loft offers a pallet for your creativity and can be the blank canvas needed to impact your living environment for added comfort and increased scale. It is not surprising that loft conversions are the most popular form of residential property conversion, and with the relatively liberal planning permissions associated with them, obtaining a loft conversion is an excellent way of renovating your property. We have a strong background in successful loft conversions of all types, featuring across South West & West London.

Types of Lofts

The types of loft conversion designs you can consider are Dormer, Mansard, Hip to Gable and Velux. The existing layout of the roof, and certain restrictions that apply will determine what kind of loft conversion you will be permitted by the local authority to go ahead with.

We Create Exceptional Living Spaces

Dormer Loft Conversion

Dormer lofts are the most versatile type of loft conversions, as they can be built on a wide range of homes, including detached, semi detached and terraced properties. They create more additional floor and head space by extending the roof, and most of the time will end up making your loft the largest room in the house.

Hip to Gable Loft Conversion

Hip to Gable lofts are for properties that have three separate slanting sides on the roof, usually on semi detached and detached houses. The side part of the roof is made vertical which increases the amount of space within the loft.

L Shape Mansard Loft Conversion

Mansard lofts require the most work done, as they result in considerable change to the structure of the roof. Mansard’s usually have a flat roof with the back sloped at 72 degrees, which is a loophole to qualify the roof as a wall according to planning criteria.

Velux Loft Conversion

Velux lofts are the most versatile type of loft conversions, as they can be built on a wide range of homes, including detached, semi detached and terraced properties. They create more additional floor and head space by extending the roof, and most of the time will end up making your loft the largest room in the house.
